Clarify

Clarify — sharpen your data

Updated on Sep 26, 2026 · 1 minute read

ArcGlass infers a lot from your conversations, but some things it can't be sure of — is this account a customer, a prospect, a partner, or not a real company at all? Clarify asks you a few short, high-leverage questions and turns your answers into ground truth that's used everywhere downstream.

How it works

  • It asks the right questions. Clarify surfaces only the ambiguities that matter — an account's relationship, its lifecycle stage, who owns it, or whether it's a real company at all — ranked so the highest-impact question comes first.
  • You answer in seconds. Pick an option or type your own. Answers are stored as confirmed ground truth and stop the guessing.
  • It applies everywhere. A confirmed answer flows back into processing and the rest of the product, and the question won't be asked again.

Relationship, then lifecycle

Clarify confirms an account's relationship first (Customer, Prospect, Partner, Vendor, Competitor, Investor, Former Customer, Other, or "Not a real company"). Only once you've confirmed it's a customer or prospect does it ask where that account sits in its lifecycle — a customer's post-sale stage, or a prospect's sales funnel (Pre-discovery, Discovery, Demo, PoV, Negotiation). If a stage question ever presumes the wrong type, choose "Not a customer/prospect" to reopen the relationship question.

Cleaning up junk accounts

Occasionally a meeting title gets mistaken for an account. Clarify surfaces these as a cleanup question — "looks auto-generated from a meeting — is it a real company?" — and flagging one Not a real company removes it from every view at once.
